The course may be walked from 2pm on Saturday 31st August 2019. A fit horse is required for this event


ENTRY FEE £23 (inc paramedic fee)


  • Competitors must provide their own number bibs.

  • Anyone mounted must wear Protective Headwear to the minimum standard of either PAS 015:1998 or 2011 with BSI Kite Mark, VGI with BSI, Kite mark Snell E2001 with official Snell label and number ASTM-F1163 2004a with the SEI mark AS/NZS 3838 1998, 2003 or 2006 with a harness properly adjusted and fastened.  Fixed peaks are not permitted.

  • Back protectors are compulsory.  They must be BETA approved and appropriately labelled “Level 3 body protector”, with the label showing manufactured in the year 2009 or after. If competitors are using a Woof Wear Body Cage Body Protector a key must be left with the Organiser at the Entries Tent when collecting your number. Hats and body protectors will be checked when collecting your number.

  • Medical armbands to be worn on the arm when mounted.

  • For health & safety purposes, the committee have decided that competitors are not permitted to wear headcams, mobile phones or stopwatches when mounted.

  • Any person eliminated on the cross country course may continue but must give way to other competitors.  If necessary, officials may order any person to leave the course to prevent safety from being compromised.

  • The organisers will not be held responsible for any accident or injury to any rider, spectator or animal however caused in connection with this event. Competitor’s, horses and spectators attend this event entirely at their own risk.


    A vet will be on call but not in permanent attendance. Paramedic in attendance. Catering on site. Official Photographer. DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES.
